Plumbing Testing For Foundation Evaluation
 Residential sewer drain pipes are creating havoc for property owners in North Texas. Sanitary sewer systems leak, back up or fail entirely due to aging lines, root intrusion, calcification and ground or foundation movement, costing homeowners thousands of dollars in damage to their homes and landscaping. In addition to the expense and inconvenience, backed up or leaky sewage systems in and under home or building creates health risks such as contamination from mold and harmful bacteria.
Some symptoms of a sewer leak are water protrusion from slab or ground, stoppage or backup of toilets, tubs, showers, etc., foundation movement or cracking, or unexplained odor.
Static pressure testing is performed to determine if there are any leaks within the sanitary sewer system. When leaks are indicated, process of static isolation testing, video camera inspection and electronic line location are executed. We are able to static pressure test the entire sanitary sewer system and pin-point any leaks within the system when a loss of static pressure is indicated.
Once the leak or leaks have been pin-pointed, sewer line repairs are made un-intrusively with our trenchless (No-Dig) epoxy pipelining capabilities, or they are exposed and repaired using traditional methods of excavation (slab penetration or tunnel). Our sewer liner expertise and years of experience with these types of sewer leak repairs are shown through the clean, thorough and timely manner in which we conduct ourselves on every job, big and small.
Work areas are kept safe and clean through entire repair process. Hand-dug tunnels and slab penetration accesses are properly backfilled and restored. All jobs are done to proposed specifications at a fixed cost. All work is tested and comes with a 1-10 year warranty upon completion of job. All cast-in-place pipeliners come with a 10 year warranty.
The first step of lining procedure is to clean out all roots and descale any calcite, etc. in order to return the corroded pipe back to its original functioning diameter. To do this we either jet the lines or use pneumatic tools such as the scorpion cutter. Cast-iron pipe may require additional preparation if the pipe is badly corroded or there is a void in the pipe.
After the cleaning process is complete, the sewer lining can begin. Based upon the solution you and your technician have decided upon, the length of liner needed is cut, a custom two part epoxy is mixed and poured in to permeate the felt liner. The saturated liner is then pulled in place, the bladder is inflated and the curing begins. Once the epoxy lining has cured, the bladder is extracted, leaving a complete structural pipe within a pipe.
